Ozzy’s older children from his marriage to Thelma admitted they didn’t spend much time with the rocker, who was often on tour.
«What I remember from my childhood with dad is that he was away for very long periods of time, and there was always an adjustment period when he came home, and then everything would go back to normal and then he would go away again,» Jessica said in the 2011 documentary. God bless Ozzy Osbourne. «So, it was a very erratic childhood with dad.»
And when he was At home, I frequently went to pubs.
«When he was around and he wasn’t angry, he was a great father,» Louis added. «But that was really very strange.»
After Ozzy and Thelma broke up, he and his children stayed in touch. In fact, there was an episode of The Osbournes where Ozzy got a call that Jessica had given birth and he was a grandfather for the first time. Louis has also shared that he sees Aimee, Kelly and Jack sporadically.
«I don’t travel half as much as I used to and they’re in America,» he told Birmingham Live in 2012. «We’re more likely to see each other in a random hotel in New York than we are to all sit around a table for Sunday lunch. We get together on special occasions.»
He and his father, however, made it a point to check on it periodically.
“Dad usually calls on Sunday afternoons to catch up and when he comes to the UK we take the kids,” Louis added. «Dad is great, a very loving grandfather.»
Little has been shared publicly about Louis and Jessica’s brother, Elliot.
