Froggatt added: ‘It was lovely to return and make one more movie. Gareth Neame (the producer) always had the idea of a film trilogy, he was after Downton’s legacy. We have all followed since the program ended, but if it had not been a great experience, we would not have continued to return.
‘We have had so many farewells: it was the end of the series, then the end of the first movie, then the second movie, but this is really the final farewell. Everything has to come to an end at some point.
The first two Downton films, written by Julian Fellowes, generated more than 220 million at the global box office.

Speaking about the Podcast of Travel Secrets organized by the expert in Tanya Rose’s travel industry, the actress said: ‘I reserved this retirement and it was an introduction to Ayurvedic meditation: some people call it transcendental meditation.
Oh, my God, flew. It was amazing.
‘I was on my own. Byron Bay is the most impressive place anyway, it is so beautiful. The beaches are incredible, it is a very lush tropical landscape. It is simply beautiful.
Surrounded by dense bushes, Soma has 10 bedrooms and 10.5 bathrooms.
The ‘well -being’ getaway also has a geodetic dome, an outdoor cinema, a pool and a fire well.

Downton Abbey star, 45, shared the happy news when debuting her baby bulk on the red carpet in 2024 at the movie awards at the Odeon Luxe in the Leicester square in London
Reflecting on the unique retirement, Joanne said: ‘You move and there are a group of people there and there is ayurvedic food for you. They were couples or single people and you don’t know anyone. They spend this very intense but calm two and a half days together.
‘It was an incredible experience, not only to learn the meditation technique, because it seemed really powerful. Do you keep it that way? No. I did it for a while and it is a great tool to return and wish to keep it more.
«But what was so incredible was that the stage was impressive, all that was completely up to expectations, and some.»
‘But it was just having the experience of being a solo traveler with a group of people I did not know and how we united and shared stories and we went through this experience and shared a large part of our lives in the conversation.
And that for me is the magic of traveling anywhere.
‘You could be on a bus wherever you are, you could be in a beautiful meditation retreat in Byron Bay, but really what makes it the people you know and the people with whom they throw you and with whom you have these experiences.
‘He really brought him home. They were a couple of days so magical. We saw a koala that lives in the forestry there and there were only these really special quiet moments that felt really magical. »
