I need to know
- Meg Farley spoke with people exclusively about leaving her job as a first -degree teacher to risk and pursue her love for travel and adventure.
- She left the teaching to concentrate on health and well -being, travel and self -discovery, finally reached the road alone and hugged a new lifestyle.
- Now it is a full -time adventure and a travel presenter worldwide, after learning the most important lessons of your own trip.
10 years ago, Meg Farley graduated from the university and immediately got into a teaching work after obtaining his degree at age 22. The progression was perfect for the graduate whose views were established in a teaching profession until he realized five years after he had more to learn.
It was not the curriculum or the academic level; In fact, he got his first degree in the same school where he had taught before. He loved working with children, a rewarding aspect of his day to day that kept her in motion for almost half decade.
The work made sense professionally, but also personally: his father was a teacher, his place of employment was in his native Nebraska, in addition to his university boyfriend outside the state went to the postgraduate school and lived with her locally before Washington moved together two years later.

Although he got a first degree teaching work in his move to the northwest of the Pacific, an obvious sign that it was great in that, he still longed for more. A particular break on a beautiful snow day made her look at the mountains out, asking why she was not in them herself.
The thought would happen again, especially as someone who was always on vacation in the mountains to ski and explore throughout his childhood despite living in Nebraska. A longing for adventure weighed heavy, especially after feeling «burned» and «stuck» in the midst of his post-choice successes.
«I went to college, I got my teachers. My parents will be so annoying if I will leave,» he tells Farley, 32, People in an exclusive interview about the beginning of his unexpected career that would soon develop. «But, I kept having those visions and those thoughts, ‘I want more for my life.'»
After five years of teaching, Farley resigned, or as she expressed it, «my life was basically starting.» However, it was more a gradual step of work, since it made an active effort to put your physical and mental health first.

Farley benefited simultaneously from his well -being by landing a fitness training concert for Beachbody On Demand (Bodi), which finally allowed him to put teaching in the past forever. «It really is 100 percent that led me where I am now,» he admits.
«I was betting on myself. I kept saying: ‘I will leave my teaching work once it coincides with my income with my Beachbody income,» he recalls, although he ended up leaving $ 8,000 for matching his teacher’s income of approximately $ 50,000 in the middle of the beginning of the Pandemic Covid-19 in 2020.
Although Farley recalls that this moment is «really scary», he was sure that «he would find a way to solve it.» In addition, I knew I had the teaching to resort if I needed it (however, it is quite sure that this will not happen).
«I never want to return … It was literally a relief by signing those documents. I sold all my things,» says Farley. «I simply get excited about it because I was so unhappy and it was not the person that should be to teach.»

Farley says that Fitness’s training work «opened so many different doors» for her in the three years that followed, allowing her to chase her love for trips while she was on the UNE. In 2023, she broke with her 10 -year -old boyfriend and moved from Washington to Oregon to live with friends until that May.
«Then I bought a truck,» Farley tells people at the next stop of his trip that took her to Colorado. «I thought, ‘This is a new photo in life where I can go wherever I want. This is a new opportunity. I am free!'»
Although his truck broke «so many times», the traveler of free spirit says that it was literally the vehicle that took her out of a «depressive» state and forced her to «learn so much» about herself while traveling only from Oregon to Utah to Nebraska to Colorado and beyond.

«I made a 20 -day backpacking trip, the John Muir Trail, who was more than 250 miles in California, and had organized five group trips and basically had the most busy year of my life. The most fun year of my life,» Farley recalls, which caused her to settle in the state of the centenary.
However, «Settle Down» looks a bit different in Farley, who spends most of his year of globetroting as a group presenter for Trovatrip, the first group travel platform that drives content creators so that their online communities outside line through world -class experiences.
Farley began to share his trip on social networks when he began to turn away from teaching and rely on health and well -being, using his Instagram as a platform to connect with others that are also passionate about space.

To date, Farley accumulated more than 130K followers on Instagram (known as «MOG of Motor Mountains» online), where it attracts the addicts of adventure of related ideas that the group stumbles with it, in addition to the well -being and well -being brands that are associated with the independent photographer and videographer of content.
«I have made a road trip of Colorado … Nepal, we made a 10 -day walk to the Annapurna base camp … two different points in Canada, so Banff and then the other side of Canada, Camping Adventures, Yellowstone, and then another Colorado, and then I made Bali,» he shares his recent trips.
Farley sold his truck just before traveling to Bali, however, one day he hopes to return to that lifestyle and have «a more pleasant truck» in the future.

«Next year we are doing Kilimanjaro next year, so it is also a 10 -day or eight -day walk, and then Patagonia,» he continues. «We are also going to do a tropical next year. Trying to find out if it will be Ecuador, Costa Rica, Thailand.»
Farley makes it clear that she is not the guidance of these trips, and points out that someone local takes the reins of that responsibility.
«My work is to get all girls in a group chat of my social, where I market the trips, and then prepare them before going,» he explains. «Usually, I have two or three different calls to prepare them to go because there is much to learn, such as, we cannot drink their water, we need to seep.»

«And then, once we are there, I’m just one of the girls,» Farley continues. «I am dating them. I am doing all the activities. I am taking photos. I am only creating content to use and memories to have … it’s great.»
For spectators who assume that their work is easy, Farley admits that it is still a routine despite its intertwined passion and profession. Maintaining a follow -up on social networks and effectively use your algorithms constantly requires consistency, interactivity and, of course, high quality content.
In addition, Farley is his own boss.

«The greatest amount of time I have taken is 21 days, and that is this last year when I made the path John Muir and I had no service,» she says. «I knew I was going to receive success because I knew you had to be consistent … so I’m still working to build that backup. I lost many followers during that time,» he adds.
«I wouldn’t say it’s easy, but it’s worth it,» he continues. «I enjoy my work every day and I love that I have met so many radical and incredible people and I have had many incredible opportunities since they left teaching.»
Ionic for the person who spent a part of his life instilling lessons to others, but it was his own being who had more to learn.
And now, a decade later, Farley trusts what has been taught since his new search for life: «I love it and I am satisfied.»
