The popular YouTube creator, Luke Nichols, who runs the outdoor channel, has renounced the platform after 11 years, citing the need to spend more time with his family.
Nichols, who had almost 15 million followers on his channel, jumped to fame by showing his outdoor adventures such as camping and fishing, as well as sharing survival and exploration skills.
However, in a five -minute video published on Saturday, the father of three children said he is now moving away from making a content ‘for a while’ to spend more time with his family.
In the video, titled Goodbye, the Creator explained that he has won almost 12 million of his followers in the last 18 months alone, adding that the sudden rise to fame has been difficult in his personal life.
«It has been a wild trip,» Nichols explained in the video.
«The amount of time and energy that I have dedicated to making YouTube videos is difficult to communicate,» he continued.
«Many nights of editing and packaging and unpacking the camp with pneumonia build trunks cabins while they are injured, but it has been a tremendous adventure and has allowed me to keep my family while making wonderful memories with my wife and children,» the man said outdoors.
Despite the enjoyment he has achieved when making content, the emotion seeker admitted that «even good things can get too far away.»

«I think I’m starting to reach that point,» he added.
Nichols continued to explain that the public attention that he and his children, Tommy, Nathan and Jacob, and his wife Rebecca now receive, is «overwhelming», and have a «true concern» about what fame could do to his family.
«The large volume of fans trying to contact me, trying to take photos with me or simply try to appear and talk to me in public can be a bit overwhelming sometimes,» said Nichols.
«And my wife and I, we both have real concerns about what this will do to our family if I continue to grow my YouTube channel at this rhythm,» he said about his decision.
The affectionate dad said: «The time to stop is before this problem gets so control that my family and I cannot live normal lives.»
«I still enjoy going to adventures, but it’s time to start focusing on other things,» he said passionately.
«I have spent so much time focusing on me and my family and growing my business, it is time to step back and concentrate on helping other people to vary and I am excited to see where it takes me,» he said.
Nichols still has some extreme trips of camp and travel adventures that have been in process for ‘the last six months’.
